Finegan is a very special little dog! He is an 8 yr. old black and white, neutered terrier mix who was found as a stray wandering the streets of West Los Angeles. On Feb. 1, 2012 he was brought to the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter.
Many dogs are found in circumstances like Finegan's, so what makes him so special? To begin with he is about as cute as they come both before and after his bath as you can see in the photographs. Finegan is a happy little guy who wags his tail a lot . He is also very calm and well mannered. What then is it that makes Finegan so special? Well, it turns out that Finegan is "toothless"!!.
Why is he toothless you ask? We don't have an answer and Finegan can’t tell us. The good news is that it doesn't seem to bother him. He takes treats with the best of them and as long as his food is soft he will have no problems. His weight appears to be normal for a dog his size. What a story he would tell if only he could talk.
Adopting an 8 yr. old toothless terrier may not be at the top of your list when you come to the animal shelter but one look at Finegan and your heart will melt. His sweetness and gentleness shine through and worrying about him biting someone will never be an issue. :-)
He is a precious little dog who needs someone to love him. Don't let the shelter be his last home!
